BRIDGES INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

As a Bridges’ international intern, you will help middle and high school students at our partner schools in Peru, India, South Africa or Guatemala gain greater cross-cultural understanding by learning directly from their peers across the globe through digital storytelling.

Interns have the opportunity to teach important skills in research, writing, photography and technology while using Bridges’ curriculum. You will also lead students as they participate in our online discussion forums, asking questions and posting answers to classrooms in countries around the world where we have partner schools; view and discuss youth-produced digital stories; and host a culminating film festival featuring their digital stories for the community.

All this while you:
  • Study language & culture in-country
  • Earn university credits for service learning & other classes
  • Train with Bridges’ staff & learn to create digital stories
We are now seeking students to work at the following sites in 2011:
  • Spring 2011 - South Africa, India, Peru and Guatemala
