Zarifa Aliyeva High School is named after Zarifa Aliyeva. History never forgets the persons who played a role in its formation. They are an example not only to the present, but also to the future generations. One of such persons is Zarifa xanum Aliyeva. Zarifa xanum was not only the known ophthalmologist, the great scientist, the true partner in life, but also very careful mother. She was the author of 12 monographs and over 150 scientific articles, and was the first woman awarded the Prize named after Academician Averbakh of the Academy of Medical Sciences of USSR.
